Hey, <a href="http://funwithgravity.blogspot.com" rel="nofollow">http://funwithgravity.blogspot.com</a>,

I don't know for sure, but since it's USFS property, I don't think they can legally kick you out. I just think it's just unpleasant to skin when there's people coming down at me. One thing that's good to know is the Breck winch cat phone, 970-547-5627, especially with the light lasting longer these days. Worth calling them re: closures, but they do have signs and a strobe light near winch operations.

Breck usually doesn't allow uphill access early in the season, and they usually issue a statement, find details by calling their main number, 970-453-5000. The Basin has early-season race training, so uphill is usually restricted through Thanksgiving or longer. On the mountain/runs open section of the Basin's website, they have an uphill access part which is updated daily (and is good to check mid- and late-season when blasting is possible). Hope that helps! -R

Just curious, what is the policy at Breck (for someone who doesn't work there)? Just not during operating hours? Are the certain places you can and cannot? Thx.
