Bike Park Coming to Frisco, Colorado

Yesterday, Tuesday, May 4, the Town of Frisco held a public groundbreaking for new construction taking place at the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area. The plans include winter and summer development, and of course, that 18-acre bike park. A few highlights of features planned for the Frisco bike park:

  • Slopestyle Lanes: beginner, intermediate and expert lines
  • Four-Cross Course
  • Dirt Jumps
  • Skills trails and a beginner skills area
  • Pump Track

Frisco’s development includes more than a bike park. Additional parking, road improvements and a day lodge are also planned for the Peninsula Recreation Area. Winter additions include a tubing hill (that could be open for Thanksgiving 2010) with surface lift and a skating rink.
